Sweat Protocol Problem Preventative and Treatment Procedure

  

Be sure to replace the Zinc, chromium, selenium, iodine and especially the magnesium after lengthy sweating sessions and if you have a taste for salt, eat some sea salt. no processed salt please.

     

“The results this June bowled over long-term medical researchers. Women who took 1000 IU of vitamin D3 daily had 60 per cent less breast, lung and colon cancer at the end of the trial than women who took the dummy pill. And when she dropped the cases discovered in the first year, assuming those cancers had been present but unnoticed when the trial began, the reduction in cancer in her vitamin D group was an astonishing 77 per cent.”    American Journal of Clinical Nutrition 2007

"So-called disease is nothing but a remedial effort of the body to get rid of poisons, blockages, and conditions which interfere with normal functioning. These healing efforts of the body manifest in such ways as sweating (fever — to force impurities out through the skin, which is one of the channels of elimination)."    Typhoid is not contagious

"PACE is fast and gets to the point. It’s not the grueling drudgery you’re used to… it’s not at all what “cardio” feels like. You’ll feel winded and sweat up a storm, but you’ll be invigorated after it’s done, not tired and bored.”   Doctor Al Sears MD, Note PACE is Doctor Sears's method of varying heart output while exercising by speeding up and slowing down frequently; it works try it.

“The basic goal of heat therapy is to sweat. This can be accomplished in the comfort of your own home by soaking in a tub of hot water (as hot as you can stand it) or by wrapping yourself in blankets with a hot water bottle for 20 to 30 minutes. Taking a quick shower after each treatment will prevent expelled toxins from getting reabsorbed.”   Hyperthermic therapy

   

Sweating is a Detoxification Process

"Lactic acid can exert a weak chelating effect on toxic and heavy metals; that is it can bind to the toxic metal and aid in the elimination of the metal through the kidneys."   Doctor Robert Rowen MD, Note the lactic acid is produced while sweating

”Your skin is a major organ of elimination, but many people do not sweat on a regular basis. This may be due to wearing synthetic or tight clothing that does not breathe. Sedentary living and sun damage also inactivate your skin. Repeated use of the sauna slowly restores skin elimination, which can help reduce your toxic load quite significantly. But not only will it help rid your body of heavy metals and chemicals, it will also help kill off viruses and other microbes—even cancerous cells, according to Dr. Clement. The difference between an infrared sauna and the traditional Finnish-style saunas is that the latter heats you up from the outside in, like an oven. The infrared sauna heats you from the inside out. Steam baths are great for detoxifying your water-based organs. So if you have lung, kidney, or bladder problems, a steam bath with some essential oil can be beneficial.”    Doctor Brian Clement MD

"Chelation therapy (removal of toxic metals from the blood) is part of his practice. Dr. Cline also recommended infrared saunas for elimination of toxic metals from the body.67 Arsenic, cadmium, lead, and mercury are toxic metals that have no known beneficial effect in humans, but which can be removed from the body through sweating.68 "   Detoxification Strategies

Sweat is one of your body’s major detoxification processes especially for heavy metals (See Heavy Metals Protocol) and iron. Many perhaps most adult men have too much iron (See Iron Protocol) sweat is one of the few ways other than bleeding to lose this excess iron. I feel good producing sweat. I never use my air conditioning. I reserve it for wooses LOL The human body was designed to sweat. Many body functions rely on sweating to complete. Living without sweating is like wearing a Lycra body suit while attempting to have sex.

When we sweat, we lose more than just water. Zinc, chromium, iodine and selenium in addition to magnesium, sodium, chloride, phosphorus, calcium, iron, manganese and others are lost in the sweat or in the actual accelerated metabolism of strenuous exercise and are difficult to replenish. Other components of sweat include electrolytes, principally sodium and magnesium. An adequate magnesium level will help your body against fatigue, heat exhaustion, blood sugar control and metabolism. Lengthy exercise in the heat requires a supplemental (See Supplement Protocol) salt intake, Sea Salt (See Sea Salt Protocol) if available but table salt will do in a pinch.

Loss of magnesium by sweating takes place at an accelerated pace when there is a failure in sweat homeostasis, a situation which arises when exercise is performed in conditions of damp atmosphere and high temperature. Increased energy expenditure causes an increase in magnesium requirements. So be sure to replace the Zinc, chromium, iodine, selenium and especially the magnesium after lengthy sweating sessions and if you have a taste for salt, eat some. Selenium is important in that it neutralizes the toxic effects of mercury and this is especially important for athletes who have a mouth full of mercury containing dental amalgam.

  

Sweating is an Antibiotic Process that USES/DEPLETES Many Minerals

“Their new study, just published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, shows that sweat spreads highly efficient antibiotics onto skin to protect our bodies from dangerous disease-causing "bugs." So if you scratch or cut yourself or get a mosquito bite, antibiotic agents secreted in sweat glands, including dermcidin, immediately and efficiently kill invading germs if perspiration reaches them. What's more, the scientists say these natural substances, known as antimicrobial peptides (AMPs), are more effective in the long-term than traditional antibiotics.”   Perspiration contains natural, safe antibiotics that kill dangerous germs, even TB, staph

"Ironically, insufficient iodine intake primarily affects the most health-conscious: people who avoid iodized salt, processed foods, and meat. People who exercise vigorously can be among the most iodine-deficient, since substantial quantities of iodine are lost in sweat.9 Iodine replacement is easy. There are a number of iodine supplements that provide various forms of iodine. Choices include molecular iodine (often as drops) and kelp tablets (dried seaweed). While the Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA) for iodine is 150 mcg for non-pregnant adults, some data suggest that human need for ideal health may be greater, perhaps even approaching the experience of the Japanese, who ingest milligram doses (more than 1,000 micrograms).10 In my clinic, we prescribe 500-1000 mcg (0.5-1.0 mg) of iodine per day from kelp tablets with success."    Avoiding Frailty Note this 1 milligram of iodine is also insufficient IMO

"Athletes and people engaged in heavy physical effort lose iodine and other trace elements through perspiration. One study demonstrated iodine deficiency in 25% of vegetarians and 80% of vegans."   Life Extension, Note this is based on the woefully inadequate 150 mcg/day iodine RDA. IMO based on a more reasonable RDA of 10 or so milligrams almost All of us are deficient. Use the Iodine skin painting method and be JUST RIGHT  

"Two studies of athletes in training revealed that they had lower levels of serum zinc than controls."   Steven Davies MA   Note sweating et al can drain  your zinc be sure to supplement

 “Evidence linking marginal intakes of the trace elements chromium, zinc and selenium with abnormal lipid metabolism and ultimately cardiovascular diseases is accumulating from both animal and human studies. Chromium supplementation of normal adult men as well as diabetics has been reported to increase HDL and decrease triglycerides and total cholesterol.” Anderson 1986

“Selenium blocks the mutations that cause the most mortal form of the flu.”  J American College Nutrition 20: 384–88S, 2001;

“Supplementing with selenium, 200mcg/day in individuals with normal blood levels of selenium resulted in a 118% increase in the ability of lymphocytes to kill tumor cells and an 82% increase in the activity of natural killer cells.” Roy, Note "normal" is often suboptimal due to the poor health status of the "normal" person

Silica, an essential mineral, plays an important role in many body functions and has a direct relationship to mineral absorption. Several studies show silica can help restore the calcium-magnesium balance.”   Kaufmann, Schneider, Leibold, Note believe it or not silica may be more important to the calcium-magnesium balance than calcium

“Magnesium stimulates endothelial cells to produce nitric oxide a vasodilator.”  Nadler and Rude

Super Health Problem Preventative and Treatment Procedure

Be sure to replace the Zinc, chromium, selenium, iodine and especially the magnesium after lengthy sweating sessions and if you have a taste for salt, eat some sea salt. Note if you cannot taste the pure salt it indicates a zinc deficiency. If you exercise for hours at a time you will be sweating even though you do not see or feel the sweat. I find I am constantly running out of magnesium and often zinc even though I do make an effort to replenish both.
