Medical Testing Protocol
Avoid Getting Zapped to Avoid Cancer and Heart Disease
"Medical radiation is a necessary co-factor in about 75 percent of recent cases
of breast cancer in the United States."
Doctor John
William Gofman PhD ,
Note does this help explain why the RATE of breast cancer creeps ever higher as
we "test" more and more?
“Medical radiation
is a highly important cause (probably the principal cause) of cancer mortality
in the
United States
during the Twentieth Century. Medical radiation means, primarily, exposure by
xrays (including fluoroscopy and CT scans). Medical radiation, received even at
very low and moderate doses, is an important cause of death from Ischemic Heart
Disease; the probable mechanism is radiation-induction of mutations in the
coronary arteries, resulting in dysfunctional clones (mini-tumors) of smooth
muscle cells.” Radiation from
Medical Procedure in the Pathogenesis of Cancer and Ischemic Heart Disease
Note this means NO, NONE not at the doctors not
at the dentist not at the airport unless the risk/reward is shown to favor the
radiation. Make the doc give you the hard numbers
“According
to John Gofman, MD, PhD,
there is strong evidence that HALF of all cancer deaths, and 60 percent of the
death rate from ischemic heart disease are induced by ionizing radiation
treatments. Dr. Gofman is both a nuclear physicist and a medical doctor, and is
one of the leading experts in the world on this issue. He presents compelling
evidence backing up these assertions in his book
Radiation from Medical
Procedures in the Pathogenesis of Cancer and Ischemic Heart Diseasev.
For decades, x-rays and other classes of ionizing radiation have been a proven
cause of virtually all types of mutations, especially structural chromosomal
mutations. X-rays are also an established cause of genomic instability, often a
characteristic of the most aggressive cancers. It's
tragic beyond belief, but many of our conventional medical tests and treatments
contribute to worsening disease states, including cancer; and conventional
cancer treatments are oftentimes just as deadly as the disease itself.”
Radiation Imaging Tests Increase Cancer and Heart Disease Risks
Land of the free home of the brave, right.
They know folks,
they know.
"Awareness of the VAP test is important for anyone who wants to stop
cardiovascular disease in its tracks, even before signs and symptoms
manifest. The VAP test is performed just like a traditional cholesterol
panel: a technician or nurse draws blood and submits it to a laboratory. At
reasonable cost, the VAP test provides more information than routine
cholesterol tests and expands on this data. The comprehensive information
derived from the VAP test enables physicians to more accurately predict
their patients’ risk of heart disease, and to customize more aggressive,
patient-specific treatment plans."

trained to process or understand biological information systems. I was not
trained to see how everything communicates with everything else."

"Doctor Thomas Graboys
of Harvard Medical School
saw 168 patients who were told that they needed cardiac catheterization and
who came to him for a second opinion. He concluded, in the study published
in JAMA in 1992 that 162 of the 168 patients did not need cardiac
catheterization. While cardiac catheterization is an essential tool for
unstable patients or those experiencing a heart attack, all the evidence
suggests it is being overused in stable men and women."
Doctor Michael Ozner MD. Note to understand the
profound risk this has for people not needing the catheterization please read
Doctor Ozner's book "The Great American Heart Hoax"
"I don't consider cardiac catheterization
to be either simple or risk-free. It is an invasive procedure, more akin to
surgery than image scanning, that can lead to deadly complications, and it
should not be ordered at the drop of a hat." Doctor Michael Ozner MD
"Unfortunately
the patient must receive a dose of radioactive material through an IV. The
patient becomes 'radioactive" which increases the risk of cancer. The second
pitfall of the nuclear stress test is that any abnormal finding usually
leads to other tests and procedures, usually tests and procedures that
studies have not shown to reduce the risk of either heart attack or death."
Doctor Michael Ozner MD
"There is one important thing they're not testing you
for. And the latest research shows that this one thing is the most important CVD
risk factor of all. It's blood viscosity."
Doctor Robert Rowen MD
"A new study found that more than half of all patients
sent for costly abdominal CT scans don't even need the test. But it gets worse.
Researchers from the University of Wisconsin-Madison believe the high doses of
radiation from those tests cause at least 23,000 radiation-induced cancers every
year. A single CT scan delivers as much radiation as 113 chest X- rays. Around
20 percent use a dose equal to 500 chest X- rays, and some get even more – up to
1,000 X-rays, delivered in one mega-dose of damage. Diagnostic testing – not
just these CT scans – represent one of the biggest scams in modern medicine. The
overwhelming majority of these tests are done to make a quick and ugly buck off
your deepest fears. Abdominal CT scans
alone can cost around $6500 a pop – but who even stops to think about the price
when their doc implies something may be wrong? No one! In fact, most people
can't wait to get the test done because they're worried sick – usually for no
good reason.”
Doctor William Douglass MD
"Radiation from medical procedures is
stored by our DNA. Given that 70 million radiation-producing scans were
performed on Americans in 2007 (compared with just 3 million in 1980), we urge
all healthcare consumers to ask their radiologists to adjust the dosage of
radiation to the smallest amount capable of achieving a readable scan. Consumers
should also consider taking curcumin, beta glucans, ascorbic acid and other
nutrients to protect their cells’ DNA from the cumulative effects of medical
radiation.”

"Three simple blood tests can help
determine your present and future heart health, Although they are inexpensive,
doctors sill rely on cholesterol. You should have your homocysteine, C-reactive
protein and fibrinogen checked every year."
Doctor Nan Fuchs PhD, Note IMO forget about the cholesterol you will just get
pressure to take a toxic drug you do not need and that will slowly kill you.
"An EKG, EEG,
electro-myogram or other electric or other testing test can induce changes in
the patient that will read as arrhythmias and other abnormalities that will not
exist in the patient and should NOT be treated because they do not exist in the
untested patient. This can be a problem in all medical testing, including lab
work and blood pressure testing. These changes in the patient are INDUCED by the
testing apparatus and at times by the test operator.”
Doctor Dietrich Klinghardt MD, Note this has long
been known in science and is often called the Heisenberg Principal we do not
often think of medicine in this light but the good Doctor Klinghardt is changing
that.
Energy Medicine – the New Frontier of Medicine
"British researchers followed 1,623 breast cancer
patients at 45 clinics who were put through the ringer of the standard "triple
assessment." That's the unholy trinity of an exam, an X-ray or ultrasound, and a
lab test used to trick more women into unnecessary cancer treatments. Roughly
half of these women got MRIs as well... while the other half didn't. In the end,
19 percent of the women in both groups were told they'd need another operation
within six months of their first surgery. That's 19 percent – whether they had
that big-money MRI or not, according to the study published in Lancet. And a
year later, there was no difference in the quality of life of either group.”
Doctor William Douglass MD
"A new study says that even if you get the RDA of critical
vitamin B6 (under 2 mg), you still could be deficient. The authors conclude that
3 mg to 4.9 mg daily should be the accepted RDA. But they acknowledge that even
at that level, many still will be deficient. Actually, it will take at least 100
mg of vitamin B6 daily to protect your health as you age. That tells you just
how low the RDA is. There's no way to know what your blood levels of vitamin B6
are without a blood test. Regardless, it's far
easier — and cheaper — to take a supplement than get screened.”
Doctor Robert Rowen MD
Am J Clin
Nutr, 2008; 87(5).
After an imaging test revealed a small nodule in Dr.
Len Lichtenfeld's lung, his doctor ordered a series of CT scans. But Lichtenfeld
turned them down. As deputy chief medical officer of the American Cancer
Society, Lichtenfeld knew the tiny nodule probably wasn't dangerous and that new
research has documented an increased risk of cancer from CT scans' X-rays. "The
reality is, I thought the radiation dose from those follow-up scans represented
more of a threat than the nodule," he said.”

"Vitamin C and E equivalents in humans cannot be linearly
extrapolated from mice simply by multiplying the mice dosages by a human weight
in kilos. Interspecies scaling equivalents need to be used. I have not checked
recently, but the standards used to be to divide by 7 in the case of mice and by
4 in the case of rats."
"Angiograms, if you didn't know, are
no small potatoes. The procedure involves sending a tube through the arteries to
the heart to check for blockages. The tube shoots dye as technicians click away
at an X-ray machine -- exposing you to radiation throughout the test. And no
matter what your doc tells you, there is NO safe amount of radiation. Patients
undergoing these tests also have a risk of suffering a stroke or heart attack
during the procedure. Your doctor will tell you the risk is small... but so
what? It's still a risk, and you should never, ever put your life on the line if
you don't have to.”
Doctor William Douglass MD
"I bet I can tell if your doctor is going to recommend surgery before you even
sign in at the front desk. If the doc has an ownership stake in an outpatient
surgical clinic, you can bet all the magazines in the waiting room that he'll be
itching to get you under his knife.”
Doctor William Douglass MD
"The thought of cancer really scares
most people. So much, in fact, that the fear leads us to do things we normally
would never consider. Women have their precious breasts mashed and fried with
radiation to search for early cancer. Men have needles poked into their prostate
glands. And both sexes run for colonoscopy. What have we accomplished with all
this fear? A lot of unnecessary treatment.”
Doctor Robert Rowen MD
"Zap, zap, zap, zap -- each time your
dentist hits that switch, you get hit with a powerful blast of radiation right
in your face. Don't think for a second that it's safe -- because a new study
shows how all those dental X-rays can turn into a battle for your life with
thyroid cancer. British researchers looking into the alarming rise of this
unusual cancer found that patients who've been X-rayed 10 times or more have 5.4
times the thyroid risk when compared to those smart enough to avoid dental
X-rays.”
Doctor William Douglass MD Acta
Oncologica
"A study of 313 cancer patients found the chances of
developing thyroid cancer rose with repeated exposure to dental X-rays. The
results suggest dental X-rays should only be prescribed for a specific clinical
need, rather than as part of a routine checkup. The thyroid gland, located in
the neck, is sensitive to ionizing radiation, especially in children.”
Doctor Anjum Memon of the Brighton and Sussex
Medical
School.
"One study found that heart attack patients get the
equivalent of 850 chest X-rays in the first few days of their hospital stay --
and that most of them were repeats of tests they'd already had. Bottom line:
There is no safe level of radiation. Approach any test with extreme skepticism,
because most docs aren't interested in looking inside your body -- just your
wallet.”

Get the RISK LESS Prophylactic Tests You Require

"In most cases doctors will not consider testing for
homocysteine and could therefore be treating their patients without success.
There is simply no monetary incentive for selling non-patentable dietary
supplements that perform as well as prescription drugs. Many physicians remain
unaware that elevated homocysteine can lead to depression, osteoporosis,
headaches and macular degeneration." Life
Extension, Note IMO you do not want to deal with an individual so medically
ignorant
Some doctors may not want to
give you a specific non-invasive test. Your doctor may not think it’s worth his time, or
your expense. Your doctor may be under pressure from a third party payer to
eliminate
“Unnecessary Tests”.
Please do the research before asking for a specific test. Know
why YOU require this test. Then you can explain to your doctor why it is
necessary and INSIST. If your doctor still does not want to do it IMO WALK OUT
and find a doctor who will work with YOU. IMO make a show in front of the doctor. We got to
train these guys. IMO a so called doctor who will not accede to a knowledgeable
patients’ request to discover his health relevant markers is likely to do you a
lot more harm down the road.
Non-invasive testing is one thing modern medicine (See Preventive Medicine Protocol)
is good at; it MUST be made available to
you.

"Colon cancer is found most frequently in wealthy countries,
where people eat rich foods consisting predominantly of red meats, dairy foods,
rancid vegetable oils, processed foods, white bread and other refined grains. On
the other hand, people following diets providing plentiful amounts of whole
grains, vegetables, legumes, and fruits and very little in the way of meats and
dairy products develop few cases of colon cancer."

"Remember, there is no healthy amount
of radiation, yet we're being bombarded so often it's a miracle we don't glow in
the dark. CT scans are the worst offenders of the bunch, delivering the
radioactive wallop of between a few hundred and 1,000 chest X-rays in a single punch.”
Doctor William Douglass MD
"A former Food and Drug Administration scientist said
Tuesday his job was eliminated after he raised concerns about the risks of
radiation exposure from high-grade medical scanning. Dr. Julian Nicholas told an
audience of imaging specialists that he and other FDA staffers “were pressured
to change their scientific opinion,” by managers in the agency’s medical device
division.”
FDA suppressed scan safety fears, staffer says
"Too much cancer screening, too many
heart tests, too many cesarean sections. A spate of recent reports suggests that
many Americans are being over treated. Just recently, a
New England Journal of Medicine
study suggested that too many patients are getting angiograms -- invasive
imaging tests for heart disease -- who don't really need them.”
Experts Say U.S. Doctors Overtesting, Overtreating
"We're being tested left and right,
up and down and at every corner -- and most of these tests come loaded with
danger, inconvenience and cost.”
Doctor William Douglass MD
“Scientists are warning that the radiation dose
delivered by the new airport scanners is much higher than anyone has admitted --
up to 20 times higher than previously thought. Doctor David Brenner of
Columbia
University's Center
for Radiological Research says it's because the X-rays don't distribute evenly.
Instead, they concentrate on the skin, which is extremely sensitive to radiation
-- and that opens up the possibility of chromosome damage and even cancer.”

“A
New England Journal of Medicine
study from 2007 estimated that overuse of diagnostic CT scans may cause up to
3 million excess cancers
over the next 20 to 30 years."
“Cardiac computed tomography (CT) and
other medical scans sometimes involve injecting a radioactive iodide dye into
the bloodstreams of patients in order to highlight the produced images. But a
new study published in the journal Archives of
Internal Medicine has revealed that this radioactive dye can cause permanent
thyroid damage, as well as cancer.” Thyroid
Medical Scams
You will have to do some homework on any invasive testing you may be asked
to risk. Find out if studies have proven the test to be worth the risk. Is
testing indicated in YOUR case? ALL invasive testing where you are irradiated, are cut or
your body invaded carries a risk. All kinds of needless and dangerous tests
are commonly given heart patients. IMO don't be a
patient. Even if the test itself does not harm you the follow up
drugs and or invasive procedures can. Never take any
test you do not thoroughly understand. Tell your doctor you need
to think about it; then research it.
NEVER take a "test" the day they spring it on you.
Demand to be given written data and demand to be allowed to read and
research it at HOME. Do this reflexively without thinking about it.
An endocardiograph for example may show "weak" results because you are taking a
toxic statin drug which is depleting your heart of a nutrient vital for its strong
beating, CoQ10. Take 400 mg of CoQ10/day and retake the endocardiograph in a
couple weeks and it just may show "strong" results. You may be low on CoQ10
without taking a drug. Once you walk in a specialist's office NOTHING
is simple; IMO stay away from these guys.
Me, I never go there anymore. Once as a young foolish man I had
an EKG which showed "irregularities" and "a missed beat" scared the hell out
of me until I found out my graph was of the type which showed the strongest
heart; the "specialist" did not tell me this in fact he implied the opposite.
