Fibrin Protocol
“The
leading cause of death in the western world is the formation of abnormal
clots inside a blood vessel. It is important for healthy people to take
steps to prevent this.”

Fibrin a KEY Player in YOUR Health
“Excessive homocysteine
blocks the natural breakdown of fibrinogen by inhibiting the production of
plasminogen activator.” Midoriakawa et al
“Fish oil lowered homocysteine and
decreased fibrinogen with no adverse effects.” Saynor et al
Note Fibrinogen is converted to fibrin and can be dangerous in excessive amounts
“If fibrin cannot be digested by the enzymatic
action of plasminogen, fibrin-containing clots accumulate, contributing to an
increased incidence of heart attack and formation of larger plaques inside the
arteries.”
Life Extension, Note proteolytic enzyme
supplements can digest the fibrin and the clots
"In all my years of
research as a professor of cardiovascular and pulmonary medicine, natto and
nattokinase represents the most exciting new development in the prevention and
treatment of cardiovascular related diseases. What makes nattokinase a
particularly potent treatment is that it enhances the body's natural ability to
fight blood clots in several different ways. Because it so closely resembles
plasmin, it dissolves fibrin directly. In addition, it also enhances the body's
production of both plasmin and other clot-dissolving agents, including
endogenous urokinase. We have finally found a potent natural agent that can thin and
dissolve clots effectively, with relative safety and without side effects." Doctor
Martin Milner
While there are
over 3000 enzymes in the body and there are more than 20 enzymes involved in
the coagulation cascade that creates blood clots, there is only one enzyme
that Mother Nature has provided to the human body that can dissolve the
fibrin and break up blood clots. This enzyme is called plasmin.
Unfortunately, the body's production of this declines with age. In addition
to its decreased production with age, fibrinogen levels also rises 25mg/dl
per decade in healthy people. In other words, as we age, our plasmin level
reduces while our fibrinogen level rises. The resulting risk of cardiac
accidents goes up.”
Doctor Michael Lam MD
“Nattokinase from the Japanese food Natto is
among the most powerful natural agents in terms of fibrinolytic activity.”
Doctor Hiroyuki Sumi, discoverer of Nattokinase
“Bromelain
is a protein digesting enzyme capable of reducing atherosclerotic plaque.
Bromelain has fibrinolytic properties. Bromelain may improve cardiac health by
opposing platelet aggregation. Bromelain is non toxic up to 10 grams per
kilogram.”

"Blood clots kill more than 600,000 Americans
every year yet conventional medicine has largely ignored well-documented
methods of reducing abnormal blood clot formation."

"Plasminogen synthesis and synthesis of its activators is reduced with age
according to
Doctor T. Astrup. This results in deposits of
fibrin forming in the blood vessels."
Doctor Anthony Cichoke MD PhD
"Doctors Max Wolf and Karl Ransberger
treated thousands of the
elderly therapeutically with proteolytic enzyme mixtures and vitamin E.
Benefits included normalization of cholesterol levels and other serum lipid
levels; plus an increase in blood clot lysing activity."
Doctor Anthony Cichoke MD PhD
"Enzymes' role in maintaining blood fluidity and
reducing the formation of blood clots is essential to aging."

We Need to Remove Excess Fibrin
Plasmin is the only body enzyme
able to dissolve fibrin, Plasminogen production, and thus plasmin, tends to decrease with age. Thus as we age the blood clotting protein fibrin tends to
build
up in our circulatory system. This is not good and IMO we should take steps to
assure it does not happen to us. Since the steps required to remove fibrin
are harmless and in fact salubrious you can take this precaution without
worry. Removing excess fibrin from your blood stream will not effect your
ability to clot as it is fibrinogen which
provides this ability.
Eating a broad array of proteolytic
enzymes will tend to keep your blood free of excess fibrin. I like to
perform a blood stream cleanse once every week or so which
will mop up up my excess fibrin as well as other unhealthy proteins in my
blood and soft tissues.
Natto, Nattokinase, Vitamin K2 and Fibrin
IMO the Japanese
super food natto and nattokinase the enzyme derived
from natto and the vitamin K2 they contain are a heaven sent tools to clean up old blood. I make sure
not a week passes when I do not get plenty of all three.
Bromelain and Fibrin
Bromelain derived from pineapple stems, breaks down a broad
spectrum of proteins, including fibrin, has anti-inflammatory (See Inflammation Protocol)
and anti-fibrin properties. I make sure
bromelain is a part of my life and a week does not go by without my finding
a use for this super health tool.

CAUTION:
Any continuing heart pain may indicate a serious heart problem. A
good heart doctor should be consulted.
If you will acknowledge I am not a
doctor and am not giving medical advice I will tell you a story. A friend
of age 68 was having chest pains often and especially when exercising. I
told him about my blood stream cleanse and how to
perform it. Since he was having problems I suggested a cleanse every
day. In two weeks he called to say his chest pains had stopped and more
radically they seemed to noticeably lessen after his first cleanse. I figure it was
just a coincidence.
