Energy Protocol

“Patients on vitamin-D therapy report a wide range of beneficial results including increased energy and strength, resolution of hormonal problems, weight loss, an end to sugar cravings, blood sugar normalization and improvement of nervous system disorders.” Krispin Sullivan, CN

“Italian researchers gave 50 physical education teachers a placebo or ginseng (with some vitamins and minerals), and then had them run on a treadmill, Hearts and lungs in the ginseng group worked more efficiently, and those subjects' stamina increased significantly.” Clinical Therapy

“Elevated homocysteine levels are directly related to symptoms of fatigue in both fibromyalgia and CFS.” Regland et al 1997

“Activated vitamin D in the adrenal gland regulates tyrosine hydroxylase, the rate limiting enzyme necessary for the production of dopamine, epinephrine and norepinephrine. Low vitamin D may contribute to chronic fatigue and depression.” Puchacz et al

“In mice tyrosine administration significantly improved food consumption, cognitive behavior and activity performance. Tyrosine may improve exercise tolerance and delay fatigue.” Avraham et al

“The consequences of testosterone deficiency are likely to impact on a men’s’ quality of life including sexual function, energy levels, body composition, mood and cognitive function.” Maggi et al

“Ashwagandha counters some of the oxidative damage generated by nervous tension. Ashwagandha has been shown to confer perceptible improvements of promoting a sense of well being and a healthy mental outlook. In a large human clinical trial ashwagandha reduced the hormone cortisol by up to 26% while helping to maintain healthy blood sugar. Study subject reported improvements in energy, sleep and wellbeing as well as diminished fatigue.” Life Extension

"It is documented by the CDC and EPA that the higher the lead the lower the IQ, the energy level and even lifetime earnings will be." Doctor Gary Gordon MD

"Improved nitric oxide metabolism associated with removing lead from your body can dramatically improve endurance and blood flow." Doctor Gary Gordon MD

"Numerous studies, particularly in the German literature in the 1950s, show vitamin d-producing ultraviolet light improves athletic performance. Furthermore, a consistent literature indicates physical and athletic performance is seasonal; it peaks when vitamin D levels peak, declines as they decline, and reaches its nadir when the levels are at their lowest."    Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise May 2009; 41(5):1102-1110

"CoQ10 supplementation before exercise increases muscle CoQ10 levels, reduces muscular oxidant stress and may increase the amount of time you can exercise until exhaustion."   Life Extension

Vitamin A Essential for Energy

"Vitamin A may play a critical role in the production of energy in our cells, says an international team of researchers who claim to have solved the question of why vitamin A deficiency causes so many diseases. According to findings published in the FASEB Journal, vitamin A (retinol) may play a role in the synthesis of ATP in mitochondria—the power plant of the cells—and when vitamin A is deficient the production of energy is reduced by 30%.”    scientists-identify-vitamin-a-role-in-energy-production

Vitamin D Essential for Energy

“Activated vitamin D in the adrenal gland regulates tyrosine hydroxylase, the rate limiting enzyme necessary for the production of dopamine, epinephrine and norepinephrine. Low vitamin D may contribute to chronic fatigue and depression.” Puchacz et al

Magnesium a Key to Energy

Magnesium Chloride (See Magnesium Chloride Oil Protocol) is a strong tonic boosting all aspects of cell physiology and energy production. Magnesium is essential for life as it participates in over 325 enzyme (See Enzymes Protocol) reactions. Use Magnesium Chloride and expect more energy, strength and endurance and even increased sexual energy.

Energy

How do you get and stay energized? It’s probably the oldest question in health. Let’s break it down into six sub topics. Don't let this list intimidate you just scan it and note items you are not familiar with and look into them when you get a chance. You will see them more often now that you realize they will give you energy.

Avoid for Better Energy
  • Exercise Deficiency
  • Free Radicals
  • Junk Food
  • Excess Calcium balance one to one with magnesium
  • Excess Omega 6 balance one to one with omega 3
  • Exercise Deficit
  • Homocysteine
  • Iron Excess (See Iron Protocol)
  • Sleep Deficit
  • Stress (See Stress Protection Protocol)
  • Sugar will make you feel tired because it is making your tired
  • Magnesium Deficiency
  • Testosterone Deficiency
  • Vitamin B Complex Deficiency
  • Vitamin D Deficiency
  • Exercise Deficiency

Required for Energy

Good for Energy

Workout day
  • Eat a big breakfast with plenty of good fat (See Fat Protocol) to supply the energy you will be burning
  • Eat one or two apples to supply the malic acid (See Malic Acid Protocol) you will be burning
  • Take plenty of antioxidants to neutralize the free radicals you will be generating
  • Drink water every hour on the hour to fully hydrate your body before the water loss you will be generating

Before workout Chose some of These

"CoQ10 supplementation before exercise increases muscle CoQ10 levels, reduces muscular oxidant stress and may increase the amount of time you can exercise until exhaustion."   Life Extension
