CoQ10 Protocol
IMO all of us with cancer
fears, HBP, heart,
periodontal or energy problems or over 50 should be taking supplemental CoQ10
Dr. Peter Langsjoen and Dr.
Karl Folkers have
demonstrated in clinical studies that CoQ10 could eliminate the need for heart and
blood pressure medications for millions of Americans. “Typically diastolic and
systolic blood pressures drop by about 10% with CoQ10 therapy.” Langsjoen et al “More than half the HBP
patients receiving 225 mg of CoQ10 a day were able to terminate from one to
three of their HBP drugs.” Langsjoen et al “Japanese researchers
cited CoQ10’s ability to enhance beta cell function and improve glycemic
control.” McCarthy
1999 “In patients with
periodontal disease gingival pocket depth, swelling, bleeding, redness, pain,
exudates and looseness were significantly improved using 50 mg of CoQ10 a day.”

is required by each of your heart cell’s thousands of mitochondria; without
CoQ10 your heart and other organs literally run out of energy. CoQ10 plays a critical role in the effectiveness of your immune system
and in the aging process. CoQ10 also improves circulation, lowers blood
pressure and acts as a chelating agent. The energy generating and antioxidant power of CoQ10 has
prompted its use for many heart-related conditions including arrhythmia,
angina, heart attack, valve problems, high blood pressure, coronary artery
problems, atherosclerosis, and congestive heart failure. CoQ10 recycles vitamins
C and
E and helps repair the cell mitochondia. Testing has shown that CoQ10
reduces angina and improves cardiac function. A study in the American Journal of Cardiology showed that CoQ10 cut the incidence of angina attacks
in half. In every test run patients on CoQ10 had better exercise
tolerance than those who had similar conditions but were not given
the supplement. Low CoQ10 levels also increase your risk of high blood
pressure, congestive heart failure, senility, gum disease, heart attacks - even
cancer. Supplemental CoQ10 is well researched and is commonly given in many
countries. If you are
taking the extremely toxic and IMO totally useless statin
drugs for the non-existent problem of “High Cholesterol”
you MUST take supplemental CoQ10 as the statin drug’s method of
action depletes your CoQ10 by as much as one half.
Use the Ubiquinol form of CoQ10 for Serious
Problems "150 mg of Ubiquinol
elevates
blood levels to almost 4 mcg/ml. You would need 1,200 mg of the traditional
CoQ10 to match that effect. What may be even more critical is how long
Ubiquinol stays in your body compared to traditional CoQ10, In one study
using mice, Ubiquinol was present in the blood at a 3.75-fold greater
concentration than CoQ10 after 8 hours."
I have used the gel form of this supplement as the dry form is poorly absorbed but with advancing age have switched to the Ubiquinol form. IMO all of us over 50 or with serious health problems should be taking the Ubiquinol form of the CoQ10 supplement. This is because we lose the ability to convert ordinary CoQ10 supplements in our body about the age of 50. Ubiquinol skips much of the conversion step. If you have heart problems, high blood pressure, periodontal disease, energy problems or other serious problems requiring CoQ10 supplementation you also should consider the Ubiquinol form of CoQ10.
Doctor Al Sear's Clinical Experience with Ubiquinol
CoQ10 often does not produce noticeable
results until used for about two or three months. This is often the case with a
supplement which is correcting a basic unrecognized problem. The more serious
your problems the more CoQ10 you should be supplementing. I take 75 or so mg of
Ubiquinol about three times a week as a prophylactic dose in my old age. Some
people with serious heart problems take 500 - 900mg a day or so. CoQ10 is fat
soluble so be sure to take it with a little good fat. There is some evidence
quercetin (See Quercetin Protocol) can help CoQ10 be better absorbed.
Caution: CoQ10 is chemically
very similar to vitamin K2 and
vitamin E. If you are taking large amounts of
these three
