Butter Protocol

"Butter is a healthy choice. But don’t settle for just any type of butter. I recommend organic butter from grass-fed cows. Butter ISN'T bad for you after all: Major study says 80s advice on dairy fats was flawed

     

In my childhood butter was demonized as an unhealthy fat that promoted heart disease. We were offered a “Healthy” substitute, margarine. I like tens of millions of others eagerly ate it up, both the propaganda and the margarine. It turns out margarine is a manmade Transfat (See Transfat Protocol) an extremely unhealthy manmade fat that we should all be avoiding like the poison it is.

Butter is a healthy fat. Butter avoids most of pasteurized milk's problems because if does not contain the indigestible proteins and it is not homogenized. Butter is good for cooking as it can be heated to temperatures below 375 F without problems. Butter contains lutein (See Lutein Protocol) a valuable nutrient as well as other valuable nutrients including CLA a super nutrient. Butter from grass fed milk cows has about 3 times the CLA as grain fed cows.

A little butter on vegetables helps the fat-soluble nutrients in the vegetables be better absorbed. You do not want to be afraid of butter it is a healthy saturated fat (See Saturated Fat Protocol) to be eaten in moderation. In the winter I eat a lot of butter as fuel.
