"Skin surface lipids (SSL), a very complex mixture of sebum mixed to small amounts of epidermal lipids, mantle the human epidermis, thus representing the outermost protection of the body against exogenous oxidative insults. The present work is a systematic and quantitative analysis of upper-chest SSL and their content in antioxidants in 100 healthy volunteers. Squalene, vitamin E (vit. E) and Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) were found to increase from childhood to maturity to decrease again significantly in old age. Vitamin E and CoQ10 were the only known lipophilic antioxidants present in SSL. In spite of their low levels they were found to synergically inhibit the UV induced depletion of squalene, cholesterol and of unsaturated fatty acids of SSL. In fact, exposure of SSL to increasing amounts of UV irradiation led preferentially to lowering of the levels of vit. E and CoQ10. Four minimal erythema dose (MED) (5.6J/cm2) were able to deplete 84% vit. E and 70% ubiquinone, and only 13% squalene. Diunsaturated and monounsaturated fatty acids as well as cholesterol were unaffected even following 10 MED UV exposures, which produced a 26% loss of squalene. The same UV dose when applied in the absence of vit. E and CoQ10 produced a 90% decrease of squalene."   Free Radic Res. 2002 Apr;36(4):471-7, Note the bottom line is make sure you get your vitamin E and CoQ10 to protect your skin and your body which is protected by your skin

Radiation Poisoning

In the rare event of a nuke bomb or reactor accident you can take several supplements and foods to help remove the toxic radiation by products from your body and to protect and heal your body. Spending a lot of time in an airplane at 35,000 feet also allows more UVC radiation into your body. Spending a lot of time out in the sun also allows UVA and UVB to enter your body in large amounts this will not normally harm you but protecting against the small amount of potential harm is worthwhile IMO, especially since this protection is going to help your health in MANY other ways.

   

Internal Radioactive Contamination

“When beginning to build a protocol against the radiation and heavy metal onslaught, we need to stick with the basics and they are magnesium, iodine, sodium bicarbonate, vitamin C, selenium, clay, THC (cannabis),  as well as a natural chelator and superfoods. If you breath in, conduct through your skin, eat or drink a radioactive substance some of it may take up residence in your body where it will continuously radiate you. Most of these radioactive substances do not belong in your body and your body will try to eliminate them. We should attempt to help our body do this.

Anything you can do to actively detoxify your body is going to help IMO. Please note ALL these salubrious substances will also help you in MANY other ways so it is a win, win. IMO think of a radiation scare as an opportunity to thoroughly detoxify your body.

IMO these scares do not USUALLY carry much real risk; it is usually the PTB just instilling FEAR; but you never know. This time I am concerned that we WILL be dosed with the source being Japan or not.

   

Iodine

Magnesium

Please note ALL the trace minerals are IMPORTANT eating a source of complete trace minerals such as kelp and sea salt OFTEN is IMO a sound idea.

      

Boron

Borax can also be ingested at 1/8 tsp to 1 litre water for women, ¼ tsp to 1 litre water for men. Fortunately, red wine and coffee are significant sources of boron, as well as non-citrus fruits, red grapes, plums, pears, apples, avocados, legumes and nuts! Boron is known to be non-carcinogenic, non-mutagenic and has been used internally to protect the astronauts in space as they leave the earth’s protective magnetic field."   Boron for Radiation Protection

Many health professionals are now recommending boron for radiation protection and treatment.

      

Detoxification

Make sure you are assuring everything for good all around detoxification.

     

Heavy Metals

Since may of the radiation producing substances are heavy metals IMO you should use all the many means for removing heavy metals from your body.

     

Activated Charcoal

Many medical professionals consider activated charcoal one of the very best agents for general body detoxification. IMO activated charcoal cannot but help you detoxify radiation products from your body.

    

Sulfur

Since sulfur is required for the sulfation and  methylation detoxification pathways, key methods of radiation detoxification, we must assure a good supply of this key, often lacking mineral.

    

Chlorella

"A near-perfect food, chlorella is a single-cell freshwater algae that acts as an efficient detoxification agent by binding to toxins (most of which promote chronic inflammation), such as mercury, and carrying them out of your system. The chlorophyll in the chlorella helps you process more oxygen, cleanses your blood and promotes the growth and repair of your tissues."   Doctor Joseph Mercola MD

Japanese research after the extremely toxic spread of many radioactive substances following the atomic bomb attacks by the US in WWII examined many chelators to remove radiation emmiters. The Japanese found 8 grams of chlorella a day increased the removal of cadmium by 300% in the feces and 700% in the urine. Chlorella also helped remove uranium, lead and many other toxic radioactive  substances. Chlorella has since been found to be a good detoxifier of mercury.

   

Cilantro

“We found that cilantro accelerated the elimination mercury, lead and aluminum thru the urine. If given before mercury filling removal procedure the mercury can be eliminated in 2 to 3 weeks by giving cilantro four times a day.” Omura et al 1995

Cilantro is my favorite heavy metal detoxification agent. IMO it is bound to help with radiation by product heavy metals and others.

  

Spirulina

“After the Chernobyl nuclear accident in Russia, spirulina supplementation was purportedly able to reduce urine radioactivity levels by fifty percent in approximately three weeks.”   Doctor Bob Martin, Note one would assume it FIRST greatly increased the urine excretion of radiation products

"Up to very recently, the interest in Spirulina was mainly in its nutritive value. Currently, however, numerous people are looking into the possible therapeutic effects of Spirulina. Many pre-clinical studies and a few clinical studies suggest several therapeutic effects ranging from reduction of cholesterol and cancer to enhancing the immune system, increasing intestinal lactobacilli, reducing nephrotoxicity by heavy metals and drugs and radiation protection."    Scientific review of spirulina's benefits:

Spirulina along with chlorella are chlorophyll containing foods and are strongly cleansing. One reason is the spirulina supplies nitrogen in quantity. the nitrogen binds with the heavy metals radioactive or not and escorts them out of your body.

   

Vitamin D

“Radiological health expert Daniel Hayes, PhD explains that vitamin D3 may protect us from background radiation and could be used as a safe protective agent before or after a low-level nuclear incident. Hayes argues that vitamin D, and in particular its biologically active form – vitamin D3, could be the key ingredient in protection against radiation.”

“Our understanding of how vitamin D mediates biological responses has entered a new era ... In view of the evidence that has been presented here, it would appear that vitamin D by its preventive/ameliorating actions should be given serious consideration as a protective agent against sublethal radiation injury, and in particular that induced by low radiation."   International Journal of Low Radiation 2008; 5(4)

Vitamin D is proven to help keep UV radiation from harming your DNA. IMO it is required for other radiation protection. Many health professionals are now recommending vitamin D for radiation protection and treatment.

   

Sea Salt

Sea salt is a GREAT all around detoxifier that cannot but help with radiation toxins.

Please firmly REFUSE all man made radiation at least until you have flushed the radiation toxins out of your body IMO; then firmly refuse MOST man made radiation no matter how good they tell you it is.

IMO think of a radiation scare as an opportunity to thoroughly detoxify your body. I do believe there is a GOOD chance that we will be dosed with a LOT more radiation producing particles than our "government" will tell us about. IMO assume  you are being dosed and detoxify continuously; this will only help your health.
