Herb and Spice Values

It is true many SPICES have higher ORAC values than acai. However you can eat MANY ounces of acai while far less than an ounce of spices are usually ingested in one setting.

Spices often have anti-oxidant, antiseptic, anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-fungal,anti-inflammatory, anti-parasitic, antimicrobial, anti-congestive, anti-diarrheal and (antiglycating) properties, Impart a flavor and zing without adding calories, aid digestion and have many other salubrious properties.
Herbs and Spices
I have quart bottles of many dried spices and shake them unmeasured, on anything I am eating. Some spices work well with some foods, some not so well but on they go in massive quantity. Fresh spices are better and I use them when able.
